Esotericism is not necessarily a substitute religion for true believers, but rather a separate spiritual or philosophical pursuit that may complement or enhance one's religious beliefs. Esotericism often involves seeking hidden or deeper meanings within religious traditions, and can be practiced alongside traditional religious beliefs. True believers may find value in esoteric practices as a way to deepen their understanding of their faith, but it is not necessarily a replacement for their religious beliefs. Ultimately, the relationship between esotericism and traditional religion is complex and can vary greatly among individuals. **

Ultimately, the reaction of believers to non-believers can vary greatly and is influenced by personal beliefs, experiences, and interpretations of their faith teachings. **

Believers may threaten non-believers with hell as a way to try to persuade them to adopt their beliefs or to conform to their religious teachings. It is important for both believers and non-believers to approach each other with empathy, open-mindedness, and a willingness to engage in respectful dialogue in order to foster understanding and peaceful coexistence. **
