These episodes often feature non-canon storylines, characters, and events that do not contribute to the main plot of the series. Filler episodes are used to give the manga time to progress and to prevent the anime from catching up to the source material. While some fans may enjoy filler episodes for the additional content, others may find them to be a distraction from the main story. **
